Through the deliberate use of Spanish as our language of communication, we support children in connecting to what is already familiar within or in transcending boundaries that may otherwise exist. Grounded in a social justice and emergent curriculum, we have confidence in their innate wisdom to participate in social change and act as stewards of their environment in a way that is relevant and meaningful to them. All that we study is initiated from their interests and with the intention of nurturing their curiosity, sense of wonder, and positive sense of self and others.
